Your telegram No. 66. Local agents of Chinese Government

have no information confirming or contradicting the statement

but such orders are placed either at Hankow or by Chinese agents

in Germany, Local Chinese agents state that at least 20,000

tons of war material including munitions are still due from

Germany and that Chinese purchasing Commission is still in

Germany. Some German consignments are apparently being routed

via Sweden.
